svn:externals and spaces

Is it possible to add an external definition that has spaces for the
folder path. I have tried:

'test space' -r3 file:///D:/repo/Vendor/Cool Library
test space -r3 file:///D:/repo/Vendor/Cool Library
test -r3 file:///D:/repo/Vendor/Cool Library

and only the last one seems to be allowed.

I am using tortoise svn and the folder properties dialog in windows xp.
