[jira] [Commented] (SENTRY-862) Grant on URI should allow any action, not just ALL

Sravya Tirukkovalur commented on SENTRY-862:
--------------------------------------------

We support only "all" on URI by design. I do not remember exactly what were the various reasons. But, mainly because we do not deal with explicit select/insert to uri from hive sql. It would be an implementation detail. Would be happy to more if you have a use case why need to support this.

> Currently you can only grant ALL on URI objects. Although we do not currently leverage any other actions with the URI object we should still treat it the same way we do with the others.
