[jira] [Commented] (KUDU-1595) Expose IS NOT NULL predicates in client API

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KUDU-1595?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15517900#comment-15517900 ]

Dan Burkert commented on KUDU-1595:
-----------------------------------

Removing the {{IS NULL}} part of this ticket, since that should be separate. {{IS NOT NULL}} is completely implemented, but not exposed publicly through either client. Will file a new ticket for {{IS NULL}}, since that will take a bit more work.

> It would be helpful to be able to push down IS NOT NULL and IS NULL predicates from query engines into Kudu. We already have much of the implementation internally, but it's not exposed in the API, and would need some tests.
