We installed the open office version 3.4.0 . Took the jars mentioned below from
\OpenOffice.org 3\URE\java folder and placed under class path. open office
integrated with our application successfully.
jars:

1.    juh.jar 
2.    jurt.jar 
3.    unoil.jar
4.      ridl.jar
 Hence marking the bug as reolved and NOT_AN_ISSUE.
