This is basically a feature request to have Bayes and AWL in DB Format but user
prefs in SQL.  

Since SQL support was introduced, it was more of an all or nothing. 

I haven't tested if this is still the case but the patch below is ONLY for this
exact scenario and no logic exists otherwise.  

Even so, this just doesn't seem to be a highly requested feature and I'm
closing as wontfix.
