SA Dev Question

Does anyone have any idea how to get SA called with a different user?

I am calling SA from Amavis.  Amavis does the new for the object (In the
case below "$spamassassin_obj") on startup.

So, I want to reset the user so I have different bayes tokens, but use my
standard rules site wide..

But when I try and get sa to run with a different user, it states that
username cannot be used with strict references..

Either by doing

$spamassassin_obj->{username}=$LOCALDOMAIN 
or 
$spamassassin_obj->signal_user_changed(username=>$LOCALDOMAIN);

Any clue?
