[jira] [Commented] (INFRA-4226) Create Git repo for the S4 Project

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-4226?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13178477#comment-13178477 ]

Matthieu Morel commented on INFRA-4226:
---------------------------------------

I tried pushing to the repository, unfortunately it does not work for me:

bash-3.2$ git push apache-s4 master:dev --verbose
Pushing to https://mmorel@git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator-s4.git
Password:
Password:
error: no DAV locking support on https://mmorel@git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator-s4.git/
fatal: git-http-push failed

This looks like an http vs https error (as described here https://git-wip-us.apache.org/docs/common-errors.html ) but as you can see, I'm using https.

Any tips on what could be wrong? Thanks!

> The S4 project volunteer to help with the Git task is Ajay Kalangi (ajaybabu.kalangi@gmail.com). He is not a committer yet so he doesn't have an apache.org email address.
