Problem with getting Https to work - Getting 302 or 403 error

Jmeter users,

I. Problem:
Just installed jmeter. Having problems getting https to run. Get either
the following:
1) If name on certificate is same as hostname, I get endless loop, 302
error.
2) If name is different I get 403 forbidden error.

Anyone encountered this before and what was your resolution ? Your help is
greatly appreciated. Thanks, G

II. Configuration:
