Hi,

Has anyone taken up DRILL-85 i.e ODBC driver for Drill?

If not, I'd like to work on this issue. Anything I need to know before

That's half true.  Parth and Xiao are working on the C++ client and should
have a patch up shortly.  For the ODBC driver itself, Simba is building
one.  However, I don't believe they plan on contributing that to open
source.  If you'd like to contribute one that will be in open source, I'd
suggest you work with Julian Hyde as he was hoping to get one started some
time back.
