Sun Public License

I've been using BeanShell [1] to demonstrate the Apache Struts Scripting project
which integrates Jakarta Beans Scripting Framework (BSF) into Struts. It was
commented that the Sun Public License, which covers BeanShell, might not be
compatible with the APL.

Can Apache projects be distributed with SPL licensed third-party libraries? In
this case, Struts Scripting isn't actually linked to SPL-covered code, since we
go through BSF. Therefore, the issue, as I understand it, is whether or not
Struts Scripting can ship with a release that includes the BeanShell jar.

Thank you for your time and clarification.

Don
