no，not only hierarchies, auctually i don't need a full cube, i just need some aggre path, it's easy to achieve with "grouping sets" in hive sql, but i don't know how to define it in kylin;

I think your example makes dimension A, B, C, D looks like hierarchy dimensions. Please refer to mail "Modeling hierarchies" for explanation on hierarchy dimension.

we proposed this function as called "cuboid whitelist":
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KYLIN-242

this issue is unresolved yet, we don't have enough bandwitdth for this.
Maybe you or some guys form the community can help
