Seems that I have completely missed this discussion ;-)

Well I'm pleased to report that Flexmojos 6.0.0 has just been deployed to sonatypes public maven repo. Using the Mavenizer you can now start to build Apache Flex applications using maven. So one part of this Ticket could be closed :-)

And to add my 50ct to the discussion: I have never had real trouble setting up Maven projects and I have setup a lot of them and usually tricky configurations. Whenever I was called to fix a Maven setup, it was because people setting it up initially weren't thinking in Maven ... it's sort of like a C Programmer switching to Java, but not wrapping his head around the Concept of OO-development.

@Martin Heidegger: I personally don't know a single developer that works with gradle.
@Oleg Sivokon: What trouble are you having? I know that Velo really had some motivation problems, that's why I took over Flexmojos development. I am personally using Flexmojos in about 6 different projects and am not having any real issues with it and I have come to know quite a lot of people on the flex-list that are actively using it too. I think we were able to address the one or the other problem they were having and the current solution seems to be pretty solid.
