stopping WL restarts CPU

Has anyone used the wl-stop command and had their computer restart?  One of
the guys in QA took my ANT auto-deploy scripts and is seeing this behavior.
I changed his startup script to use -verbose -debug, but it simply stops
printing where the cpu shuts down.  Our environments are identical, anyone
with any great ideas?
