question about entities in 1.x FAQ
Hi,
Reviewing the site I can't figure out what this FAQ is supposed to mean:
http://maven.apache.org/maven-1.x/faq.html#using-entities
"As of Maven 1.1, external entities will not be enabled by default in
project.xml ... There will still be the ability to use them, but it will
have to be enabled."
What's the mechanism to enable entities? I believe it's Brett who wrote
that section originally (not sure), can anybody suggest something to
clarify this?
Thanks,
-Lukas

For the POM we are using the maven-model generated by modello and its
stax-plugin

Ok, fine. I still don't quite understand what this was supposed to tell
the user, but I have removed this part from the docs already, since
entities are fully supported in m11 now.
Thanks,
-Lukas

Yep, it's just "use Xerces, not xpp3". IIRC, you changed it back to
xerces at some point?

I'm sure that in the current 1.1 code, entities are supported and there's no
activation mechanism.
