How are we doing?

Hello all.
It's the end of August and I wanted to check on how we all are doing
regarding the first release.

Could each person in charge update us about the progress of the responsible
items?

Anything we need to know besides what we can see on github and JIRA?

Best,
Joo Yeon

Hi Nemoers!

I've assigned to supporting Spark cache() issue, and the PR is merged.
You can consider it resolved.

Best,
Sanha

Thank you for the reminder!

My part of release v0.1 is [NEMO-60] IR-based dynamic optimization,
which includes the following:
- [NEMO-64] Fix map stage hang under DataSkewPolicy
- [NEMO-96] Modularize DataSkewPolicy to use MetricVertex and BarrierVertex
- [NEMO-100] Refactor string-based RuntimeIdGenerator

[NEMO-64] is resolved and PR for [NEMO-96] is under review which will be
merged soon.
[NEMO-100] was originally part of blocking issues of [NEMO-60],
but it has become an independent issue on general refactoring for runtime.
I'd like to suggest resolving [NEMO-100] separately from [NEMO-60], as the
development of feature [NEMO-60] is finished.

Best regards,
Jeongyoon

Thanks for checking in Joo Yeon.
"[NEMO-15] Run Spark ALS in distributed mode" was the remaining issue for
me.
The PR has been reviewed & merged into the master yesterday.

Thanks,
John
