[jira] [Commented] (CB-4593) vibrate does not work on BlackBerry10
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-4593?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13764937#comment-13764937 ]
Lorin Beer commented on CB-4593:
--------------------------------
vibrate is owned by the navigator object directly on BB10. This has been documented, and I am exploring a workaround.
> vibrate does not work on BlackBerry10
> -------------------------------------
>
> Key: CB-4593
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-4593
> Project: Apache Cordova
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: BlackBerry, Plugin Vibration
> Affects Versions: 3.0.0
> Reporter: Filip Maj
> Assignee: Lorin Beer
>
> Used cordova-cli 3.0.6 to reproduce:
> {code}
> $ cordova create tmp
> $ cd tmp
> $ cordova platform add blackberry10
> $ cordova plugin add https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf/cordova-plugin-vibration.git
> {code}
> I have the following code in my index.html:
> {code}
> function vibrate() {
> navigator.notification.vibrate(100);
> }
> {code}
> Then added a BlackBerry target to my Z10, and deployed with {{cordova run --keystorepass <pwd>}}.
> Calling the {{vibrate}} function above did nothing.
