Struts 1.1b2 and Validator

Hi,

How are you doing?  I upgraded a very simple application from Struts 1.1b1
to Struts 1.1b2.  Now the validator isn't working.  In particular the
<html:javascript> tag instead of outputting JavaScript just outputs " // End
-->"  I don't see any errors or exceptions.  I am using WLS 7.0.  I have a
small sample application that illustrates the above.  Any ideas or
suggestions?

I heard someone say they were having issues with certain aspects of the 
validator -- no specifics come to mind.  As I recall, the solution was 
to upgrade to the latest nightly build (I don't remember which ones it was).
