I am user "xujyan" on reviews.apache.org and have used the review board to summit review requests:
https://reviews.apache.org/r/10231/ and 
https://reviews.apache.org/r/10241/

Strangely no notification emails were sent to the reviewers "benjaminhindman", "vinodkone", "bmahler" or the group "mesos". Nor did I receive anything. 

The emails that weren't sent to our inboxes, though, were delivered to the mesos-dev mailing list archive. e.g.
http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/incubator-mesos-dev/201304.mbox/%3C20130401234738.23853.74769%40reviews.apache.org%3E

The reviewers were able to view the requests when they logged into the review board webiste.
