[Bug 4521] New: "make test" fails in whitelist_addrs.t, test 5

http://bugzilla.spamassassin.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4521

Summary: "make test" fails in whitelist_addrs.t, test 5
           Product: Spamassassin
           Version: 3.0.4
          Platform: Sun
        OS/Version: Solaris
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P5
         Component: Building & Packaging
        AssignedTo: dev@spamassassin.apache.org
        ReportedBy: ric@arizona.edu

After downloading and unpacking SpamAssassin 3.0.4 on Solaris 8, sparc
platform, I run "perl Makefile.PL", "make", and "make test". The latter fails
in the whitelist_addrs.t module, test 5.

Environment
 SunOS 5.8 Generic_117350-25 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-60
 perl, v5.8.4 built for sun4-solaris

Any ideas as to where I should start hunting for this problem?

------- Additional Comments From ric@arizona.edu 2005-08-07 20:38 -------
The whitelist_addrs.t problem does appear to be fixed in CVS. Can I safely
ignore this test failure in the 3.0.4 release, or do I need to use the
spamassassin_20050807042807.tar.gz release in place of 3.0.4? That CVS tarball
does pass ALL the tests...

Ric

I think this is already fixed in 3.1.0 trunk.
