[jira] [Commented] (HBASE-17967) clean up documentation references
to -ROOT- table.
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-17967?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16160898#comment-16160898 ]
Chia-Ping Tsai commented on HBASE-17967:
----------------------------------------
bq. The `hbase:meta` table (previously called `.META.`) keeps a list of all regions in the system and is stored in ZooKeeper.
The description is incorrect. What we store in zk is the location of hbase:meta.
Will change it to "The `hbase:meta` table (previously called `.META.`) keeps a list of all regions in the system, and *the location of `hbase:meta`* is stored in ZooKeeper."
[~coral.w] [~busbey] Could you take a look? Thanks.
