   Additionally, this code:
   
   ```
   props["block"] = props["test"];
   ```
   
   generates this:
   
   ```
   props.setProperty("block", props.getProperty('"test"'));
   ```
   
   which has the embedded double quotes on the right-hand-side getProperty().
   
   Perhaps the compiler doesn't like two uses of indexed array syntax in the same statement?
