There is a ticket in bugzilla, where we need to change coloring for Java strings, to for example JS, XML or SQL or whatever you can use inside strings (RegEx too) But this is an other ticket/topic. Only to let you know that making one embedding language, inside a string, higher prioritized as an other (which could be) is not a good option. With a hint like: "Treat this string as SQL or HTML or JS" that will treat the string with the right embedding provider/MimeType.

As I said, only to let you know that. For know, I think it is fine to make it as it is now. For later, we there is a change needed for Java strings, to support more syntax highlighting/code completion inside Java strings. My 2 cents.
