Sending HTTPS from Apache to Tomcat Successfully

First of all, Here's my platform:

Win2K Server
J2SDK 1.4.2
Tomcat 4.1.29
Apache Http server 2.0.47

I have successfully set up Apache and Tomcat to work together per John Turners
very good instructions.

In addition, I also have successfully set up a server.keystore to allow Tomcat to run as https://localhost:8443/mywebapps

I can reach all my Tomcat webapps from http://localhost without any problem.

I cannot successfully get any of my Tomcat https://localhost/webapps to run. all the Tomcat https://localhost:8443/webapps still run without any problems.

I have looked quite through Http Apache Server as well as Tomcats docs but I cannot find a reference as to how to set up either Apache Http Server or
Tomcat so that I can run my https Tomcat webapps as https://localhost/webapps.

Any help or pointers would certainly be appreciated.

Regards,

Lenny Sorey
