Problems Apache 1.3 <-> Tomcat 4.0 and Security Constraints

Hi,

I have the following problem:

I wrote a web application using a security constraint with auth-method set to 'FORM'. Everything works fine.

I now will use Tomcat as the JSP container under Apache. If I access the application through Apache, the FORM-based
auth-method of tomcat seems not to work. ("not found error").

Does Apache supports Form-based login in a manner like Tomcat does?

Any ideas?
