I'm planning to create a branch for this and change hive version to latest snapshot of hive. There might be compilation failures. But we should be able to make progress by resolving the dependent tickets. We should aim to fix functional gaps and port performance issues next. I will create dependent tickets in Lens and Hive accordingly and link them from here.
