The Airavata Metascheduler

Hi all,

I am a 3rd year PhD student at IU Bloomington. I have a good background in
HPC and Open Source Java development (specially the MPJExpress Project
http://mpj-express.org/).

I am very interested in the Google Summer of Code and in the Airavata
project. In this regard, I recently meet Suresh Marru and he introduced me
to some challenges and avenues of improvement with in the Airavata project.
One such is a component for Airavata to intelligently schedule jobs before
dispatching them to the physical resources.

To help me draft a wining proposal for the Google Summer of Code I would
like if anyone provide more information and resources on this challenge.

I look forward to contributing towards to project goals.

Thanks,
