   Thanks and indeed @hansva! But I guess that many dependencies have been updated, which makes this move way more feasible today than it was a year ago.
   
   I've split work up as the upgrade from Jetty 11 to 12 might introduce quite some code changes and could take up more time.

   Good luck with this on @alexmller, I've tried it once in the past https://github.com/apache/hop/issues/4462 and had to go back because it was a pretty challenging move
