Rivet for Windows Apache 2.x
Hello,
are there any news about a Windows Build for Apache 2.x?
I only found the files from 2005 for Apache 1.3.
Regards,
Marc Bartels

Rivet is layered on the Tcl C library, the Apache core and APR. I don't
remember I introduced any Unix/Linux call after 2007 and someone (Pat
Hoyts?) produced some builds for Windows in 2005, so my answer is 'yes',
the problem should be with the build system which is based on autotools.
Any call to Linux that might have slipped into the code should be easily
replaced by its corresponding call to the APR library.

Is the problem only the build system? Or the code requires on stuff that
does not exist on windows?
Because if the problem is the build system, it can be solved with CMake.

No, there is no recent build of Rivet for Windows. At the EuroTcl
conference held in Munich from 6 to 8 July Jan Nijtmans explained his
work on the build system of application based on the Tcl C library using
cygwin. It could open the chance to build Rivet for Apache using
autotools and Tcl 8.6. It's on the (long) TODO list. Do you feel like
you want to try?
