    Example application showing how to use the launcher API in a project

    @tweise this is an example showing launcher API usage (which I had earlier in my repo). I felt that the best place would be to include it in apex itself as an example since it focuses on the API usage rather than application functionality that malhar focuses on. 

You can merge this pull request into a Git repository by running:

    $ git pull https://github.com/PramodSSImmaneni/apex-core APEXCORE-405

Alternatively you can review and apply these changes as the patch at:

    https://github.com/apache/apex-core/pull/425.patch

To close this pull request, make a commit to your master/trunk branch
with (at least) the following in the commit message:

    This closes #425
