[Betwixt] Write static attributes to XML

Hi,

Does Betwixt support writing static attributes of a class to XML?
I try that based on the example given below, it does not work.
http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/betwixt/guide/examples.html

Any help/advice is appreciated.

probably not at the moment. this is probably a very easy feature to 
add, though.
