Oracle ADF [was Re: popup window]
I believe Oracle is still deciding whether or not ADF[1] will be free to
use in production environments. It is in early access release mode
right now for people to evaluate. My hunch is that pricing for ADF will
be similar to their database...free for development but not for
production (I hope I'm wrong). Jonas Jacobi[2], a manager on Oracle's
ADF Faces team, had this to say on his blog:
"Btw, I don't have an update on the pricing and licensing of ADF Faces,
yet (but I have been saying this for almost 6 months now :( )."[3]
JDeveloper[4] is not a requirement for using ADF. Any IDE that supports
JSF should work with ADF.
