[jira] [Commented] (NETBEANS-1910) Provide open in terminal feature

Christian Lenz commented on NETBEANS-1910:

The feature is available as a plugin. Just saying. I would prefer to add this to the core too, but as a workaround, you can use the plugin: http://plugins.netbeans.org/plugin/62668/quickopener

> It would be very useful to be able to open a directory from the files window, into a new terminal (outside the IDE). e.g. right-click->open-in-terminal. A lot of people prefer to provide git commands or perform maven builds outside netbeans.
> If this is not easy to implement, at least a right-click -> copy-path can be added, so that a `cd <paste>+<enter>` would be used as an alternative.
