IMPALA-6075 added metrics to expose the current catalog version of a backend. The descriptions should be more clear, it took a search in the source code to figure out what they mean.

* catalog.curr-version: The current version of the catalog metadata.

* catalog.curr-topic: The statestore catalog topic version in which the last update was received.
