[jira] [Created] (CLOUDSTACK-5519) [VMWARE] Cancel vCenter tasks if the task invoked by CloudStack failes with timeout error

Likitha Shetty created CLOUDSTACK-5519:
------------------------------------------

Summary: [VMWARE] Cancel vCenter tasks if the task invoked by CloudStack failes with timeout error
                 Key: CLOUDSTACK-5519
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-5519
             Project: CloudStack
          Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public (Anyone can view this level - this is the default.)
          Components: VMware
    Affects Versions: 4.2.1
            Reporter: Likitha Shetty
            Assignee: Likitha Shetty
             Fix For: 4.3.0

If a vCenter task takes more than 20 minutes(default vCenter session timeout) to complete, then CS errors out with Socket timeout exception but the the task continues to run in vCenter.
Since there is mismatch in the state of the task between CloudStack and vCenter, If a task times out in Cloudstack we should cancel the running task in vCenter.
