[jira] [Resolved] (NETBEANS-1) nb-javac

Matthias Bläsing resolved NETBEANS-1.
-------------------------------------
       Resolution: Fixed
    Fix Version/s: 9.0

nb-javac was split out from the project and is provided as a plugin from the update-center. The IDE was modified to support working with the JDK javac and suggests to install nb-javac at first start-up.

I would consider this issue resolved by this.

> The Java editor needs lib.javacapi and lib.javacimpl which are produced from the nb-javac repository.
> This repository is a javac fork with some NetBeans / editor-specific patches.
> nb-javac is under GPL w/ CPE so will not be usable as is in an Apache project.
