How To: Unsubscribe yourself from mailing lists

Please see http://xml.apache.org/mail.html and search for the "Unsubscribe"
link next to the mailing list you want to get off of. For the
browser-challenged, the link is:
    mailto:xerces-dev-unsubscribe@xml.apache.org

This also tends to work for other mailing lists, apache or otherwise.
Generally sending an email to the list itself only serves to annoy other
listmembers.

So - just send a new email to that address (don't include the 'mailto:' of
course) and you should be all set. Substituting perhaps
'general-unsubscribe...' or 'xalan-dev-unsubscribe...' etc. as appropriate.

support contract.</joke>
