TomCat license

Dear Sir / Madame,

My name is Dora Kollar and I am Presales Specialist at Noreg Ltd,
Hungary. Noreg Information Protection Ltd. has been present on the
Hungarian information protection market since 1998. Noreg provides a
full scale information protection service for its customers. Besides the
vulnerability testing and intrusion detecting, the safe network
communication, access control, encryption, electronic signature
authentication solutions and all information protection auditing and
consultation activities in connection with all the mentioned fields are
also included in the scope of service of the company.

Last year we implemented Baltimore UniCERT modules at a customer.
UniCERT WebRAO 2.2 MediaKit contains a non-commercial Jakarta Tomcat web
application (TomCat 3.2.1). Does it (Tomcat) contain some limitations?
Do we have to purchase licence to use it legally? If your answer is
"yes", how many licences do we have to purchase? What is your license
policy?

I am looking forward to your reply.

Many thaks and best regards,

Dora Kollar
Presales Specialist

The license for Tomcat, and all other Apache Software Foundation
products, can be found here:

Other questions regarding Tomcat can be directed to the Tomcat USER

Tomcat is non-proprietary but sure is commercial. There are many people
that use it to run their businesses.
