[jira] [Commented] (IGNITE-1203) Cluster Discovery via ZooKeeper

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IGNITE-1203?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14659515#comment-14659515 ]

Dmitriy Setrakyan commented on IGNITE-1203:
-------------------------------------------

Raul, other than basic integration with Zookeeper, do you think there is any other advantage? For example, if both Ignite and Spark use Zookeeper, would it benefit users who use Ignite integration with Spark (https://ignite.incubator.apache.org/features/igniterdd.html)?

> From their site:
> bq. ZooKeeper is a centralised service for maintaining configuration information, naming, providing distributed synchronisation, and providing group services.
> It is used by Kafka, Hadoop Yarn, HBase and many other technologies as a distributed service registry and discovery directory.
> It would be nice to support cluster discovery via ZK.
