Question on naming the scdl file

Hi,
Is it a requirement that scdl file must be named "default.scdl"? Any
exception if so?

-pam

No, and actually the recommended names for SCA assembly XML files are:
.composite, .componentType and .constrainingType.

Here are the relevant extracts from the SCA assembly spec 1.0:

"Components are declared as subelements of a composite in an
xxx.composite file. "

"A component type file has the same name as the implementation file but
has the extension “.componentType”."

I could not find any statement in the spec about the file extension for
contrainingTypes but I think it's safe to assume .constrainingType.
