[jira] [Created] (CHUKWA-815) Dashboard add widget and chart
interaction are not user friendly
Eric Yang created CHUKWA-815:
--------------------------------
Summary: Dashboard add widget and chart interaction are not user friendly
Key: CHUKWA-815
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CHUKWA-815
Project: Chukwa
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: User Interface
Affects Versions: 0.8.0
Reporter: Eric Yang
Assignee: Eric Yang
Fix For: 0.9.0
When adding a widget on dashboard, the widget is added behind the search menu. User might not be aware that the widget has been added. It would be nicer if the widget is added to end of the dashboard, and scroll to end of the page where the widget is added to notify user that the widget is added.
Chart tool tips are too big and user needs to click on data point to see the value. It is not easy to click on exact pixel of a moving chart. It would be nicer if the value is display upon hovering.
