Handling Disk Storage in TDB1

Hello,

Is there any API in TDB1 storage corresponding to compact() in TDB2.

We have a dataset where triples are frequently deleted and new triples
inserted. The deleted nodes are however not deleted on the disk storage. So
if we could use any method to remove the deleted nodes from the storage
space like compact does for TDB2.

No, there isn't I'm afraid.

And TDB2 is not an option?
