[Vote] (broken) SSH AltRMI transport moves to SourceForge

Folks,

Right or wrong, we have policy from the board concerning use of LGPL.
That policy essentially say that we cannot import a LGPL
class/interface an Apache class or interface.
There is an unused SSH transport in AltRMI that uses a third party LGPL
library from jcraft.

My proposition is that the ten or so classes that deliver this are moved
to SourceForge and relicensed as LGPL (as well as being renamed to
respect the Apache/Avalon name). The relicense is proposed as the
implication of the policy on LGPL is that the classes using it must be
flawed if they are Apache licensed. By moving to SourceForge and
licensing as LGPL, we are stating that the extensions to AltRMI are no
the legal responsibility of Apache. This change in no way affects
AltRMI itself. Nothing from that new project will be used by AltRMI or
distributed with.

My Vote = +1

Regards,

- Paul

non-binding +1 (I guess AltRMI is now part of incubator, innit?)
