[ANN] Apache CXF 2.7.3/2.6.6/2.5.9 released

The Apache CXF team is proud to announce the availability of the latest patches: 2.7.3, 2.6.6, and 2.5.9.

Apache CXF is an open source services framework. CXF helps you build and develop services using front end programming APIs, like JAX-WS and JAX-RS. These services can speak a variety of protocols such as SOAP, XML/HTTP, RESTful HTTP, or CORBA and work over a variety of transports such as HTTP, JMS or JBI.

This is mostly a patch release to fix problems and issues that users have encountered. However, there is also a critical security issue resolved in these releases (information forthcoming). Users are STONGLY encouraged to upgrade as soon as possible.

2.7.3 fixes over 30 JIRA issues reported against 2.7.2. See:

2.6.6 fixes over 25 JIRA issues reported against 2.6.5. See:

2.5.9 fixes over 10 JIRA issues reported against 2.5.8. See:
