LD_LIBRARY_PATH

my servlet cant find the native libraries am going to use. how will
i configure my tomcat so that these native libraries will be visible
to my tomcat. i already tried adding   LD_LIBRARY_PATH
in my environment but still doesnt work. am on solaris.
