[jira] [Created] (JAMES-1469) Save incoming Emails as .eml file in Windows

Mehmet Ünlütepe created JAMES-1469:
--------------------------------------

Summary: Save incoming Emails as .eml file in Windows
                 Key: JAMES-1469
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JAMES-1469
             Project: James Server
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: MailStore & MailRepository, SMTPServer
    Affects Versions: 3.0-beta4, 2.3.2
         Environment: Win2k8 R2, Linux, AIX
            Reporter: Mehmet Ünlütepe
            Priority: Critical

James is able to use maildir as Mailbox for incoming Emails on Unix like systems. My tests have shown that if i want to use this feature on a Windows box i get a lot of Exceptions. But the Email which was received is in the Temp directory of the mailbox and can be read.
Is there any way for this to work on Windows? I mean since the temp file is already on the machine i thought maybe there is a workaround to get thin feature running on Windows.
I would appreciate any help or hints regarding this matter.
I think this feature for Windows in the James SMTP Server would be awesome and is definitly needed by a lot of users and companies.
