[jira] [Created] (CLIMATE-596) Dataset variables are not propagated correctly through dataset_processor functions

Michael Joyce created CLIMATE-596:
-------------------------------------

Summary: Dataset variables are not propagated correctly through dataset_processor functions
                 Key: CLIMATE-596
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLIMATE-596
             Project: Apache Open Climate Workbench
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: regridding/data processing
    Affects Versions: 0.5
            Reporter: Michael Joyce
            Assignee: Michael Joyce
             Fix For: 1.0.0

A number of the dataset processor functions don't properly (re)assign a Dataset's optional parameters when performing some operation. Many of them don't propagate the origin parameter and many of the kwargs are passed as positional arguments. This ends up being rather brittle when changes/additions are made to dataset.py
