Security realm for WebSphere

Is there a jdbc-based security realm for WebSphere equivalent to the
org.apache.catalina.realm.JDBCRealm class for Tomcat?
Or to rephrase my question, how do I approach doing a JDBC-based
userid/role definition in WebSphere and tie it with the
<security-contraint> defined in the web.xml file?
