FYI. I'm sinking this because of HBASE-7467 (and partially because of HBASE-7442, and HBASE-7466).
Expect a new RC soon.

The 1st 0.94.4 RC is available for download here: http://people.apache.org/~larsh/hbase-0.94.4-rc0/

0.94.4 is a bug fix release. Bigger than expected, this RC has 70 issues resolved against it, contributed by 23 individuals.
These are mostly bug fixes, some nice performance improvements, and some other other improvements.
This release also includes many test fixes.

Please try out the RC, check out the doc, etc, and vote +1/-1 by January 11th, 2013 on whether we should release this as 0.94.4.
