Apache Traffic Control HW Specs

Dear All,
We would like to better understand the suggested HW specs for each component of Traffic Control like Traffic Server, Traffic Router. We have figured out couple of presentation that shows only Traffic Server HW specs like 32 Cores, >256GB RAM, >20Gbps NIC, >20TB storage etc but this is given only for Traffic server. Besides there are minimum system requirements for other components on Traffic Control web site but it is not showing us the recommended HW.
So if you have the list for suggested HW specs of each compoenent, that will be helpful for our test lab environment.

Hi Burak-
  I suggest asking the question about Traffic Control hardware specs on the Traffic Control mailer (users@trafficcontrol.incubator.apache.org<ma...@trafficcontrol.incubator.apache.org>) and we can help you over there.

For Traffic Server, the hardware requirements can vary greatly based on your workload. A Traffic Server cache serving images and HTML pages will require much different RAM and disk than one serving streaming video. The specs for the traffic server HW you mention below are pretty appropriate for streaming video at 15-20Gbps per cache.

If you have lower scale requirements (bandwidth, library size, etc…) for a cache you can certainly get by with smaller caches.
