In 1.1b2 you can do Anonymous HTTP authentication
which requires a user to enter a "proper" e-mail
address.

What about adding a similar module that requests
a user's digital ID a la Verisign Class 1-4
digital ID at <http://digitalid.verisign.com>?
Anyone can make up an e-mail address to log in
to, but it is more effort to get even just a
Class 1 digital ID let alone 2-4.
